Load Em Up, Move Em Out
[Conference Day 5, 1530 hrs]
The conference was over. Jonas was left with more to think about. He found it strange that he hadn't gotten an assignment, but his 'reservation' on Starbase Bravo was over. Doing something was always better than doing nothing. Jonas packed his bag and headed to Docking Precinct A. "Might as well end where I began."
[Docking Precinct A]
Jonas walked up to the counter. In a civilian space port, this would be where you picked up your boarding pass. The clerk looked up at him with a look of mild annoyance. "Can I help you?" She said, but didn't really sound like she meant it.
Jonas smiled at her discomfort, but then if he'd been dealing with all these outsiders for a week, his patience would be spread pretty thin. "Jonas Flanigan."
She tapped her console, "We've got you and some of the other prospective captains booked on the transport, SS Minnow, scheduled to depart at 1700 hrs for the Devron Fleet Yards."
Jonas nodded, "Thank you."
The clerk looked down, "Docking port 32."
Jonas turned and walked to the docking port and dropped his bags at the check-in station.

Raan Mason returned to the docking precinct the same way he’d arrived five days ago, with his pack slung over one broad shoulder.
Approaching the docking clerk, he smiled despite her sour expression. She looked overworked and harassed, but given the amount of people wandering around, half lost and the other half looking for other docking precincts, so would he in her shoes.
“Raan Mason,” he said. “I’m on the SS Minnow to Devron Fleet Yards at 1700.”
She tapped her console. “We have you on the list. Head to docking port 32.”
“Thank you,” he offered her another smile and headed in the direction she indicated.
The whole week had become a blur of excitement, confusion, and many, many people. The starbase was still absolutely abuzz with individuals though the numbers seemed to have slowly poured out as the day has progressed. Now, despite the clamor of everyday life aboard the station and the multitude of Starfleet personnel still present, Starbase Bravo had an odd sense of increasing quiet slowly working its way across the station.
Chandra had had quite her fill of the place in the five days she'd been here and was quite anxious to be aboard a ship, any ship, that was leaving the place. With her duffle bag slung over her shoulder, she approached the departures desk of Docking Precinct A, the very same place she had first arrived not some 30 feet from where she stood five days ago.
"Commander Raksha Chandra,' she began, offloading as much information on to the rather disgruntled clerk as quickly as possible so as to reduce the need for any conversation, 'I'm booked for departure on the _SS Minnow _ at 1700 hours."
"Docking port 32." the clerk grunted, returning to her work and immediately averting her occupationally wrested gaze from Chandra.
Raksha began walking down to the check-in station of the docking port when she spotted Jonas ahead, offloading his bags.
"Hah! Jonas!" She called across the hallway to him, stepping up closer to the departure area.
